Students enrolled in the Euroculture programme at the Jagiellonian University have to comply with the visa and residence permit requirements for Poland. The Euroculture Staff will provide assistance in this process

General procedure for:

Non-EU Citizens
It is compulsory to have a student visa in order to pursue the programme. Please contact the proper authorities in your home country (Polish Embassy) and apply for a student visa prior to your arrival to Poland. Our institution will provide you with any official requirements for the process (letter of acceptance and confirmation).

It is necessary to apply for a Residence Permit in Poland if you plan to stay for more than 3 months inside its territory, unless you have a valid visa. Students with a valid visa are not required to apply for a residence permit. If you wish to, however, or your visa does not cover the whole length of the stay, the Euroculture Krakow Staff will provide assistance with the application process.

You can find all relevant information on visas, Polish stay and work permits, and other issues concerning foreigners in Poland at the Malopolska Voivoideship Krakow Office webiste (in English).
