The new semester is upon us and we’re sure you have many questions! That’s why we’re organising a Orientation Day on the 29th of September (Friday). We’ll have an opportunity to intruduce ourselves, discuss all urgent matters and get to know you.
The plan for the Euroculture Orientation Day on the 29th of September is as follows:
10:00 – Euroculture Info Meeting (Garbarska 7a, room 10)
11:30 – Meeting with Dr Przemyslaw Tacik, IES Erasmus+ Coordinator (Garbarska 7a, room 10)
12:30 – Lunch at “Jagiellonka” (cafeteria in the Jagiellonian Library)
13:30 – Jagiellonian Library tour
17:00 – Integration Evening (Garbarska 7a)
Apart from that, it is our pleasure to invite you to other events that are part of the inauguration of 654th academic year at the Jagiellonian University!
On the 30th of September (Saturday) the Centre for European Studies (CES) is organizing a guided city tour around the Kraków Old Town and Kazimierz District. To participate in the trip please send the email with confirmation to: firstname.lastname@example.org to book your spot (please include a note that you are a Euroculture student). On the 1st of October (Sunday) the ceremony of inauguration of the new academic year takes place in Auditorium Maximum at ul. Krupnicza 33. The ceremony will be held in Polish. Attendance is possible with invitations only. If you’re interested in participating, please contact email@example.com (please include a note that you are a Euroculture student). Number of available places is limited!
On the 4th of October (Wednesday) there is an inaugural lecture for the students of the Institute of European Studies given in English by Prof. Elena Calandri from the University of Padova (Italy). The lecture will be held at 17:00 in Collegium Novum at ul. Golebia 24.
On Saturday, 7th October, you have a chance to participate in the CES Integration trip to Ojcow. To participate in the trip, please confirm your attendance by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday, September 29th, 2017. Please send your name, contact number, and meal preferences and include a note that you are a Euroculture student for example: John Smith, + 48 123 456 789, vegetarian, Euroculture. Then stop by the CES student office at ul. Garbarska 7A till Saturday, October 2nd, 2017 to pay 100zł which will secure your spot. The number of participants is limited so the rule ‘first come first served’ will be applied. Remember that in case you would not come to the trip we cannot return the money back.
